Romanian education technology company Kinderpedia has announced new Kinderpedia funding to support the international growth of its digital platform designed for schools and early learning institutions. The company raised 2.2 million euros as part of a wider 3.5 million euro funding round that remains open for additional strategic partners over the coming months. The investment will be used to expand Kinderpedia’s presence across multiple regions and strengthen its technology for teachers, students, and families.

Founded in Bucharest, Kinderpedia is already used by schools and nurseries in more than 40 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. The platform currently supports more than half a million teachers, parents, and education leaders, reflecting a growing demand for unified digital tools in education.

Expanding Access To Digital School Management

Kinderpedia focuses on simplifying daily school operations through a single cloud-based platform. Its system brings together school administration, fee management, classroom activities, student progress monitoring, and communication with parents. By centralizing these functions, the platform aims to reduce administrative workload and improve transparency across school communities, a key focus area enabled by ongoing Kinderpedia funding.

According to the company, educators using the platform save over nine hours each week on routine tasks. This additional time allows teachers and school staff to focus more on teaching and student engagement rather than paperwork. Parents also benefit from clearer communication and better visibility into their children’s learning progress and school activities.

The company plans to use the new Kinderpedia funding to strengthen its position in Central and Eastern Europe, while also accelerating growth in the Middle East and Africa. These regions have shown rising demand for scalable education technology that can support diverse languages and school systems. Kinderpedia has invested heavily in language accessibility, including a fully available Arabic version of its mobile application.

Over the past year, product development has focused on embedding artificial intelligence directly into everyday school workflows. These features help schools improve communication efficiency, generate insights for student progress reports, and document incidents in a timely and structured way. The goal is to support better decision-making while maintaining trust and data protection.

Focus On Teachers And Classroom Needs

Looking ahead, Kinderpedia aims to further enhance its platform with tools that directly support teaching and school leadership. One of the long-term goals made possible through continued Kinderpedia funding is to develop a conversational AI assistant for teachers and school administrators. This feature is intended to enable voice-based interactions, faster access to important data, and clearer insights into school operations and student performance.

The company states that this approach is guided by feedback from educators and school leaders who are seeking practical tools that fit naturally into their daily routines. Rather than replacing human judgment, the technology is designed to support teachers by reducing repetitive work and improving access to information.

Kinderpedia was founded by Daniel Rogoz, Evelina Necula, and Valentin Ilea. Since its early stages, the company has received multiple rounds of venture funding to support product development and international growth. Earlier investments helped establish the platform and expand it beyond Romania into new education markets.

The current Kinderpedia funding round is expected to close in mid 2026. Over the coming years, Kinderpedia plans to continue simplifying school operations, personalizing learning support through targeted technology features, and expanding its international footprint. The company has set a long term objective of reaching 30 million euros in annual revenue by 2030.

For students and teachers, the expansion signals continued investment in digital tools that aim to make education more organized, transparent, and responsive to classroom needs.
